The Canine unit specializes in patrol however they back up and aid in any situation which necessitates the utilization of canines.  We offer patrol programs with armed officers and canine units along with high visibility and proactive security patrol. The canine unit currently comprises fully trained dogs and their handlers. The dogs are specially trained to detect the odor of controlled substances, conduct tracks, searches and apprehensions.
